Hala Altunji, DMD

Dr. Hala Altunji is a skilled and compassionate general dentist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Educational Background & Training

Dr. Altunji earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2017. Following her graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, where she received advanced training in complex restorative procedures, surgical techniques, and comprehensive patient care.

In addition to her formal education, Dr. Altunji has pursued specialized certifications, including Botox and dermal filler training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). She is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Field Experience

Over the course of her career, Dr. Altunji has provided dental care in a variety of clinical settings, serving patients with diverse needs and backgrounds. She has practiced in private dental offices across New Jersey, Massachusetts, and beyond.

Her clinical expertise includes fixed and removable prostheses, molar and rotary endodontics (ProTaper, WaveOne, EndoSequence systems), implant prosthetics (overdentures, single and multi-unit fixed partial dentures), surgical crown lengthening, and extractions, including surgical procedures. She is also experienced with electronic medical record systems to ensure efficient and accurate patient care.
